KPMG Baltics OÜ is the new auditor of RESBUD SE

KPMG Baltics OÜ is the new auditor of RESBUD SE

RESBUD SE – a European holding company operating in the construction, energy and civil engineering markets, as well as production, logistics and material supply for the construction and energy sectors – has selected KPMG Baltics OÜ as its new auditor. This decision was made by the shareholders at the Ordinary General Meeting, held on October 12, 2021. The contract with the new auditor was concluded on December 1, this year.

During the last Ordinary General Meeting, the shareholders approved the annual report for 2020, adopted a resolution on the coverage of the loss for 2020 and dismissed the current auditor, Number RT OÜ. The main reason for terminating this contract and selecting a new auditor was the acquisition of 100% shares in the companies: Energokomplekt OOO, Conpol sp. z o.o. and Uniwersim sp. z o.o. The agreement with the previous auditor concerned the audit of the separate financial statements. Bearing in mind the need for consolidation, which arose as a result of the acquisition of shares in subsidiaries, established in different jurisdictions, the issuer has elected a new auditor.

From December 1, this year, KPMG in Estonia will assume the role of new RESBUD SE’s auditor.
