KPMG Baltics OÜ is the new auditor of RESBUD SE
RESBUD SE – a European holding operating in the construction, energy and civil engineering markets, as well as production, logistics and supplies of materials and equipment for the construction and energy sectors – has chosen KPMG Baltics OÜ as its new auditor. This decision was made by the Company's shareholders at the Ordinary General Meeting held on October 12, 2021 year. The contract with the new auditor was concluded on December 1 this year.
During the last Ordinary General Meeting, the Company's shareholders also approved its annual report for 2020, adopted a resolution on covering the loss for the previous year and dismissed the current auditor. The main reason for the termination of this agreement was the acquisition by RESBUD SE of 100% of shares in the companies: Energokomplekt OOO, Conpol sp. z o. o. and Uniwersim sp. z o. Meanwhile, the agreement with the previous auditor, Number RT OÜ, concerned the audit of the separate financial statements. Taking into account the need for consolidation resulting from the acquisition of shares in subsidiaries based in different jurisdictions, the Company selected a new auditor.
From December 1, 2021, KPMG in Estonia will take over the function of RESBUD SE's auditor.
