Conpol, a subsidiary of RESBUD SE, continues work on the construction of the European route Via Baltica, commissioned by PORR
Conpol sp. z o. o., an experienced contractor of investments in the field of building, engineering, road and railway construction and producer of a wide range of concrete, continues work on the construction of the S61 Via Baltica expressway, running from Warsaw to Tallinn. A company belonging to the RESBUD SE holding operates in this project as a subcontractor of PORR, as a comprehensive supplier of high-quality concrete for the 23-kilometer section from Szczuczyn to Ełk Południe. The construction works on its implementation were completed by the consortium in approximately 80% and are progressing according to schedule. Conpol, on the other hand, has already delivered over 65% of the materials planned under the contract (concrete mixtures).
The construction of Via Baltica, a part of the international route E67 (and the S61 expressway), is underway, leading, among others, to from Warsaw to Tallinn, with a total length of nearly 1 km. In Poland, the investment is being implemented as part of the National Road Construction Program for 000-2014. The new route will act as the most important transport connection between the Baltic countries.
The construction of the 23-kilometer section from Szczuczyn to Ełk Południe, in the Warmian-Masurian Voivodeship, is being carried out by a consortium of PORR SA, PORR Bau GmbH and Unibep SA Bielsk Podlaski. This section of the Via Baltica trail, due to the expected heavy truck traffic, is being built using cement concrete technology and will have two roadways with two lanes each. Under the contract signed with PORR SA, Conpol is a comprehensive supplier of high-quality concrete mixtures produced for this investment, in accordance with the ordering party's specifications, on the construction site.
For this purpose, it uses two modern, mobile concrete mixing plants: the BHS Duomix 250 type with very high efficiency (220-250 m3/h) and the WBT McCrory (with a capacity of 100 m3/h) - depending on the type of concrete produced. The installations are operated by a team of highly qualified operators. In September this year the delivery of necessary materials under the contract with PORR was 65%. The works of Conpol sp. zoo are progressing according to schedule.
The completion date for the construction of the 23-kilometer section from Szczuczyn to Ełk Południe is scheduled for May 31, 2022. Currently, the entire consortium is working on laying the concrete surface - this stage is already 62% complete. The generation of fronts for subsequent preparatory activities before the installation of the concrete and mineral-asphalt mixture is also underway. At the same time, work is underway on the construction of all bridge structures, the necessary reconstruction and construction of new networks, and the installation of energy-intensive road barriers. Paving works and works related to profiling and topsoiling of flat areas and slopes of the road body are also carried out. The construction of the section from Szczuczyn to Ełk Południe is approximately 80% advanced.
Conpol sp. z o. o. has extensive competences in the field of engineering and energy construction, as well as concrete and asphalt production. The company belonging to the RESBUD SE holding currently operates successfully on the Polish market, participating as a contractor in investments in the field of building, engineering and road construction. The company's most important projects include: expansion of the Kraków-Balice International Passenger Terminal, construction of concrete and reinforced concrete structures on the Tuszyn-Pyrzowice section (A1 motorway, section G), reconstruction of track systems and accompanying infrastructure on the E59 railway line (Leszno section). -Czempiń), as well as construction works on the section of the E30 line Kraków Mydlniki - Kraków Główny Towarowy.
From February 4 this year RESBUD SE owns 100% of shares in Conpol sp. z o. o. The company generated revenues of PLN 2020 in 752. EUR, generating almost PLN 26,5 thousand. EUR net profit.
