Solid results of RESBUD SE for the first half of 2021: EUR 28,625 million in revenues and EUR 1,729 million in operating profit

September 30 this year RESBUD SE, a company listed on the Warsaw Stock Exchange since 2007, published for the first time consolidated financial statements with companies acquired in the first quarter of this year: Energokomplekt OOO, Conpol sp. z o. o. and Uniwersim sp. z o. o. A dynamically developing group, operating in the construction, energy and civil engineering market, as well as in the area of ​​production, logistics and supplies of materials for the construction and energy sectors, generated revenues of EUR 2021 million in the first half of 28,625, PLN 615 thousand EUR of net profit and EUR 1,729 million of operating profit. In the second half of 2021, RESBUD SE will continue intensive work on the transformation into a modern European holding. 

– First half of this year. was extremely important to us. Thanks to the completion of the first stage of RESBUD SE's transformation, we have started a new chapter in the history of our business. We are consistently building a modern holding of companies from various industries - our goal for the coming months is to strengthen the position of the established holding and its development. We are also analyzing the possibilities of expanding RESBUD SE to include additional business entities - says Krzysztof Długosz, President of the Management Board of RESBUD SE. 

The most important event of the past year for RESBUD SE was the successful conduct of a private subscription process, under which agreements were concluded to acquire a total of 218.520.263 new shares of the company worth over EUR 32 million, through contributions in the form of shares in the companies Energokomplekt OOO, Conpol sp. z o. o. and Uniwersim sp. o. Thanks to this, the share capital of RESBUD SE increased to over EUR 26 million (from EUR 1,991 million previously), and the company took over 100% of shares in the above-mentioned entities. 

It is also worth emphasizing that after the first quarter of 2021, RESBUD SE shares were included in four stock indices listed on the Warsaw Stock Exchange: WIG, WIG-Poland, WIG-budownictwo and Investor MS. 

In the first half of 2021, Energokomplekt OOO, a contractor in energy and construction contracts and a comprehensive operator for the supply of equipment, materials, construction chemicals and specialized equipment for large energy, hydrotechnical and infrastructure investments, won several significant contracts, including three contracts related to supply of equipment for the purposes of investments carried out by the company "PT-Инжиниринг" AO (the total value of these contracts is approximately EUR 3,8 million) and two contracts with "Komelektnyje projekt w elekthi i energetike" OOO, covering the supply of thermo-mechanical devices (their total value is approximately EUR 2,75 million). At that time, the subsidiary of RESBUD SE also completed the delivery of basic materials for the construction of the second 1 kV overhead line "Minusinskaya opornaja - Kamala-220", which is located in Krasnoyarsk Krai in Russia. 

In the reporting period, Conpol was engaged in the construction of bridge structures and roads, during the construction of a 23-kilometer section (from Szczuczyn to Ełk Południe) of the S61 Via Baltica expressway, running from Warsaw to Tallinn in Estonia, as well as the production of concrete. Conpol's work on this project, in the first half of 2021, started late due to weather conditions. 

In the first half of the year, Conpol sp. z o. o. and Uniwersim also continued work on increasing the number and value of implemented contracts. 

In the period from January to June 2021, the RESBUD SE holding generated EUR 28,625 million in revenues, PLN 615 thousand. EUR of net profit and EUR 1,729 million of operating profit. 

– The first consolidated financial statement presents RESBUD SE as a large, well-organized, international holding with the potential for development and further expansion. The combination of forces, experience and financial capabilities of RESBUD SE, Energokomplekt OOO, Conpol sp. z o. o. and Uniwersim sp. z o. o. allowed us to achieve solid results in the first half of 2021. Significant capital, the amount of revenue and the amount of profit generated allow us to look into the future with optimism. We are also pleased with favorable profitability indicators, including operating profitability at the level of 8,5% - says Joanna Dyja, Member of the Management Board of RESBUD SE. 

The overall debt ratio, which shows the extent to which the company is burdened with debts, should fluctuate between 0,57-0,67. RESBUD SE received a score of 0,50, which proves that the company finances its operations mostly with its own funds and only then uses trade credits. Currently, none of our companies uses bank loans. 

As of February 4, 2021, RESBUD SE has in its portfolio 100% of shares in Uniwersim sp. z o. o., 100% of shares in Conpol sp. z o. o. and 100% of shares in Energokomplekt OOO (87,8% directly and 12,2% indirectly ). This requires the company to prepare consolidated financial statements with the above-mentioned companies, starting from 2021.
