Changes in the composition of the Management Board of RESBUD SE

On April 24, the Supervisory Board of RESBUD SE appointed Krzysztof Długosz to the position of the President of the Management Board of the Company. He is an entrepreneur with many years of experience in building the value and developing of companies in the construction industry. At the same time, Joanna Dyja – a manager with experience in cooperation with financial institutions – joined the Management Board of the Company. From April 26, 2021, the Management Board of RESBUD SE will consist of two members. Mr. Krzysztof Długosz will be responsible for the operating activity of the holding company, and Mrs. Joanna Dyja for financial and organizational activities.

Changes in the Management Board of RESBUD SE are another step in the ongoing process of transformation of the Company into a modern, dynamically developing European holding, present on the overall construction, power and civil engineering markets, and also dealing with manufacturing, logistics and delivery of materials and equipment for the construction and power sectors. As part of the ongoing change of the business model, RESBUD SE acquired 100% of shares in the companies: Uniwersim sp. z oo, Conpol sp. z oo and Energokomplekt OOO – in February this year.

I believe that the experience and know-how of the new companies will be used by us to unleash their full potential. With the acquisition of Conpol sp. z oo, Uniwersim sp. z oo and Energokomplekt OOO, RESBUD SE acquired, among others, highly specialized staff – including engineers and technicians who worked on complex and prestigious projects in Poland and abroad. We want RESBUD SE to become a significant general contractor in Central and Eastern Europe, in the area of construction, civil engineering and energy markets – says Krzysztof Długosz, President of the Management Board of RESBUD SE.

Krzysztof Długosz has extensive experience in building the value and development of companies which he manages with a practical approach to challenges and issues. He gained his profound professional experience thanks to many years of cooperation with international corporations and enterprises. He managed the company responsible for the implementation of construction works on the construction of terminal D at the Boryspil airport in Kiev. He also managed a company that was a partner in the construction of a 220V power and transmission line, connecting the HV power station, the Komsomolskaya – Selikhino – Vanino line, commissioned by Ural Energy Company TGK-10.

In Poland, the companies he built participated in a prestigious project of expansion and reconstruction of the international passenger terminal at the International Airport of John Paul II (Krakow – Balice), as well as in the projects of construction of a section of the S3 Jawor road and culverts, construction of the A1 Blachownia motorway junction, construction of the S11 Szczecinek bypass, reconstruction of the track systems of the Wrocław – Poznań section and construction works on the railway section Kraków – Mydlniki – Kraków Main Station.

Joanna Dyja, a graduate of the University of Economics in Katowice (department of industry) and the University of Economics in Krakow (School of Entrepreneurship and Management, postgraduate studies – banking). In 2009-2019 she was the President of the Management Board of Amathus TFI SA – private investment fund company that manages assets with a total value of several hundred million PLN. In 2015-2018, she was the co-owner of Ventus sp. z oo, which dealt with obtaining EU subsidies for energy-saving, pro-ecological or innovative projects. Before that, she worked in Xelion Financial Advisors (2006-2009, as Team Leader), Deutsche Bank PBC (2003-2006, as Manager in the Sales Management Department), Deutsche Bank 24 (2001-2003, as Regional Director and Branch Director ) and Bank Spółdzielnia Regionalna SA Kraków (1992-2001, including as Branch Director).

On April 22, Jarosław Gerard Podolski, who was associated with the Company from the beginning of 2020, resigned from the position of a Member of the Management Board of RESBUD SE. His task was to build a holding company. After acquisitions of shares in the companies: Conpol sp. z oo, Uniwersim sp. z oo and Energokomplekt OOO, the first stage of the construction of the new RESBUD SE structure was finalized, therefore the resignation of Jarosław Gerard Podolski was a natural end to the transformation process of the Company into a modern and dynamically developing European holding.
